Tips for doing research

1. Go to NYUHome > Research > Search. On the right side of the page, sign in to your account (create one if you haven't done so).  Then click on the "Articles and Databases" tab and type in your key search terms; limit the search (using the scroll window) to journals in the relevant field.

2. Search Google Scholar. Note that many of the articles will be incomplete: for the complete article, you need to go to the NYU library system. It will help if you customize your browser's version of Google Scholar so that it links directly to the articles at NYU.  Look for the "Get at NYU" link.

3. Search online periodicals by topic using two essential online databases of scholarly articles: Project Muse and JSTOR.
